Karius goes to Fifa over unpaid Besiktas wages
Besiktas board member Erdal Torunogullari has confirmed that on-loan Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has made a complaint to Fifa over unpaid wages.

The German shot-stopper is in the final year of a two-season stint with the Turkish giants but is believed to be readying himself for an early return to Anfield due to a long-running dispute over money.
Recent reports originating in Turkey suggested that Karius’ grievance related to a belief that he is owed four months’ worth of wages by his loan club. But, while Torunogullari has acknowledged the existence of the ‘keeper’s complaint, he has cast doubt on its veracity.
“Karius has gone to Fifa over his unpaid wages and termination of his contract,” he said on Instagram, according to A Spor.
“He wants us to pay him for the months he hasn’t played. He wants to leave, and that’s his decision.
“We don’t want to make an undeserved payment.”

Mane ‘open’ to Madrid transfer
It’s the news that Liverpool fans may be dreading as it emerges from France that Sadio Mane is open to moving to Real Madrid.

France Football report the 28-year-old, who has scored 15 goals for the Reds this season, is admired by Real coach Zinedine Zidane and would be interested in joining up with Los Blancos.
However, Mane has a contract until 2023 and it is believed the Reds would ask for at leasr £130m for the Senegalese winger, who finished fourth in the Fifa Ballon d’Or last year.
That could give Liverpool the funds to pursue a deal for RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, who has been strongly linked with the Premier League leaders.

Juventus want Kane… but not for £150m
Reports in Italy claim Juventus are interested in signing Harry Kane from Tottenham – but will only consider a deal for lower than his reported asking price.

Calciomercato suggest that the Bianconeri are keeping a close eye on the situation with Kane’s “entourage” exploring possible destinations for the 26-year-old.
With Juve likely to miss out on Mauro Icardi to PSG, the Serie A giants are looking at Kane and it is mentioned that his representatives believe Spurs could be willing to let him go for £100m due to the drop in values in the transfer market.
Spurs have already reiterated their stance that Kane is not for sale but if the player wants to leave, the north London club may be wise to consider cashing in.

When does the 2020 summer transfer window open?
The summer window opens in England at the end of the season – currently May 18, but that will almost certainly not be when it finishes due to Covid-19 delays.
Players can be officially registered with their new clubs when the Fifa international window opens on July 1.
From January 1 onwards, Premier League players with six months left on their contract have been able to negotiate and agree pre-contract deals with foreign clubs.
