REAL MADRID SET TO SNATCH OUT CHELSEA STAR.

Apr 11, 2020 10:20 AM

Real Madrid’s intentions to boost their squad for next season have continued even during the coronavirus pause, and it seems that Los Blancos are ready to enter negotiations once again with Chelsea.

According to 90min, Zinedine Zidane has kept on working to identify those players that can boost his squad for next season, and since the world of football is set to change due to the pandemic, the possibility of hiring one of his compatriots seems closer than ever.

The digital media outlet suggests that Real Madrid will try to hire N’Golo Kanté next summer, in order to have two options as holding midfielder. Right now, Los Blancos only have Casemiro to deputise in that spot of the pitch, and the need for a reinforcement is evident for Zidane and for many experts.
Chelsea snapped up Kante from Leicester City in 2016 after inspiring the Foxes to the Premier League title in his maiden term in England.
He repeated the trick in his first season at Stamford Bridge before playing his role in the FA Cup and Europa League triumphs in subsequent campaigns.
Kante’s fourth year as a Chelsea player has been the player’s most difficult since arriving on these shores as an unknown from Caen in 2015, being limited to 22 appearances in all competitions.
According to 90Min, Blues bosses are beginning to consider his future, despite his current contract having three years left to run.
